One of the oldest museums in Russia and one of the largest maritime museums in the world. It originates from the St. Petersburg Model Chamber based by Emperor Peter I in 1709. By the end of the XIX century, Museum has become a signiϐicant Russian cultural and scientific center, became known throughout the world.
